With a voice at once raw and singular, Nina Chagall’s songs move between startling intimacy and vast, cinematic expanse. Her haunting song “Green,” produced by Thomas Bartlett and released by Nonesuch Records, closes the acclaimed film Sound of Metal and was shortlisted for the Academy Award for Best Original Song. Beyond her solo music, she is an Academy Award-nominated screenwriter for Sound of Metal and co-composer of the film’s experimental score. Chagall is currently recording her debut album of original songs.
